Charly Boy’s group clash with Buhari supporters in Abuja

As the anti-Buhari march enters Day 5 in Abuja, Charly Boy and his supporters on Friday clashed with supporters of President Muhammadu Buhari on the streets of the Federal Capital Territory over the president’s continued absence from the country.

It took the intervention of the Police to prevent a full-scale clash between the two groups, as the protests enter the fifth day.

Channels TV’s correspondent who is monitoring the protests reports that the concerned Nigerians group which is asking the President to either return to the country or resign had earlier assembled at the Unity Fountain.

The other group later arrived at the scene and appeared to approach the first group, before security officials stepped in.
