Celebrated Tanzanian singer Nassib Abdhul, alias Chibu Dangote, alias Diamond Platnumz is at it again, this time round dealing with a huge case of criticism.

The singer, famed for countless hit songs such as Salome, My Number One, Utanipenda and the likes on Wednesday, June 21, dropped a new song dubbed Fire which features Nigerian popular pop star Tiwa Savage.
Unlike his other hits, Fire was greeted by fans with a shrug and total ire.
However, Diamond Platnumz’s fans and critics think otherwise judging by the heated online bashing against the star.

According to hundreds of his fans’ comments on the song seen, Diamond has turned into a chronic copycat.
Quite a multitude of music lovers called out Diamond Platnumz whom they accused of borrowing, rather stealing the video idea from American star Jason Derulo, who was recently in Kenya for the Coke Studio.

The singer clearly copied the candy look of Jason Derulo’s video Swalla featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dollar, and used part of it on his own Fire.
That’s not all, Diamond even included the vixens with candy sprinkle lips and Nicki Minaj in a multi-colored stripped booth.

The lash out against the star comes barely days after he flowered the headlines for exposing his wife, Zari Hassan, as a cheat
The two were even said to have split following Diamond’s expose’, claims they vehemently trashed via their respective social media accounts.
