NPFL: Wikki Tourists beat Lobi Stars 1-0


Hosts Wikki Tourists Football Club of Bauchi on Wednesday at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium defeated Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi 1-0 in a 2016/2017 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) fixture.
Wikki Tourists recorded their lone goal of the Match Day 26 fixture 60minutes into the game through Chwukwudi Samuel who converted a penalty kick.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Wikki Tourists were with a more purposeful and coordinated approach but poor finishing by their strikers robbed them of scoring many goals.
Lobi, on their part had earlier, started strongly but faded off as the game went on.
NAN reports that the two teams’ coaches, as well as the clubs’ managers, declined to answer questions from newsmen after the match.

Father rapes and Impregnate 10-Year-Old Daughter

One Kenneth Abaya has been arraigned before an Ikeja magistrate’s court for defilement and impregnating his daughter. Abaya who allegedly raped and impregnated his 10-year-old said he did not know why he enjoyed the act. The suspect who was arrested by policemen at the Gender Unit of the Lagos State Command Headquarters, Ikeja, confessed to the police that he loved his daughter so much and was never irritated when he was having sex with her.
